Since I was very, very young, my parents showed me what a wonderful thing reading was. I remember reading those Sesame Street books that had about two or three sentences per page… and further along I remember reading Sweet Vally High, R.L. Stine and, my very favorite at that age: Christopher Pike. While waiting for the next installment of the Emberverse Series, I took out one of my favorite Christopher Pike books: Witch.
This is something I learned from this particular book at a young age:
People are responsible for their actions, but not the fruits of their actions. Always do what you think is right, but don’t worry if good does not always come from what you do.
I have always done what I think is right. I sadly sometimes hurt people in the process, but at the moment I make a choice, I usually weight in on what’s best for everyone. I am not selfish, I try to think of the consecuences of my actions. It sometimes fails, but I still do my best.
I can’t see the future… I can’t change see stuff happening in far away places, like Julia Florence does in this book. I just see what’s in my surroundings and try to do what’s best for all.
