Killer Takes All

People who know me well know that I have some…er… “obsession” with my second name, Alice. The Alice in Wonderland story is important to me, but mostly, American McGee’s 2001 game “Alice“. So when The Boy suggested I read Killer Takes All, based on an RPG about Alice in Wonderland, it sounded like a good idea.
The book, in itself, is awesome, I couldn’t put it down at all. It has so many twists and turns that I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. It’s a quick read, too, not very complicated. There’s romance, suspence and, of course, murder.
However, I wish it had more details about an Alice RPG game, which I would probably try out if I found one or two friends to play with me.
Erica Spindler’s writing reminds me a lot of how Christopher Pike writes his Young Adult books. It’s pretty quick to read, not a lot of description and enough character conversations to understand enough of them.
Definitely if you like reading uncomplicated books, this one is a pretty good one to read.
